It has been a busy summer to date for Newry BID with events, activities and one to one engagements. We have been working closely with the BID PSNI team on making our city safer. We will have more information about this in the coming weeks. We are increasing our street cleaning and working on driving footfall to the city centre, through various events and activities.

    Newry Goes Nashville

    Thank you to all who attended the wrap up meeting for Newry Goes Nashville. 

    There is an appetite to repeat this festival annually so we will be working on this going forward.

    Summer in the City

    We are mid way through the Summer in the City programme.
    We have entertainment lined up including music, dancing and give aways planned for Saturdays and Sundays in the city centre for the remainder of August.

    First Aid

    Newry BID is offering members Qualsafe L3 Award in Emergency First Aid – fully funded by Newry BID. 

    This will take place on Wednesday 24th September from 9.30am- 4.30pm.

    Clean Team

    Newry BID’s Clean team has ramped up activity over the summer and will be continuing into the Autumn.

    Iur Cinn Fleadh

    Iur Cinn Fleadh is taking place from 21st to 25th August. Newry BID is proud to support this Festival which showcases our city.

    During this event Newry BID will be hosting a Newry Food Tour and supporting Iur Cinn Laughs and the Newry Water Festival.

    Tickets for Newry Food Tour are £50 per person. It will be taking place on Saturday 23rd August at 2pm.
